Smuggler, also known as "Housewife Hill" by the locals is a go-to for those who want a quick, cardio workout. It takes me approximately 45 minutes to reach the top without kids, and about an hour and a half with kids. When you reach the platform at the top, you are rewarded with a spectacular view of the town of Aspen and Ajax. If you would like to hike longer, there are several trails to choose from at the top where you can explore abandoned mines or take a longer route back to town. There is free parking at the Smuggler Trailhead.
